PROFITMETRICS CANCELLATION POLICY
At ProfitMetrics, we aim to make cancellation straightforward while ensuring your tracking and performance are not unintentionally disrupted.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time by following these steps:
- Send an email requesting cancellation to support@profitmetrics.io
- Complete the official cancellation form (required for security reasons)
- Uninstall the ProfitMetrics app from your Shopify store
- This will automatically cancel your subscription and deactivate your account.
⚠️ Important (non-Shopify): Your cancellation is not complete until the cancellation form has been submitted. For security reasons, we are not authorized to cancel subscriptions without it.
What Happens After You Submit the Form?
- Your account will be deactivated within 48 hours on weekdays
- Your subscription will be fully cancelled
- Any active services tied to your account will stop
Please note: If the cancellation form is not submitted, any charges incurred will not be refunded.
Impact on Tracking & Advertising
When your account is deactivated:
- ProfitMetrics Conversion Booster will stop working
- Enhanced Conversion API tracking will be disabled
- Your Google Ads conversion tracking may be affected
👉 If you rely on ProfitMetrics as your primary conversion source, you must switch to an alternative conversion action to avoid performance issues.
Why Isn’t There an Instant Cancel Button?
The current process exists to protect our users.
In the past, we’ve seen situations where:
- Store owners canceled ProfitMetrics.While their agency partners were actively using it
- This caused:
- Broken tracking
- Drops in campaign performance
- Loss of critical data without warning
To prevent this, cancellations are handled manually to ensure:
- Nothing critical breaks
- You are fully aware of the impact
- Your marketing performance is protected
