Login to your Shopify Store and go to **Apps \> ProfitMetrics** 2. Our tracking works without it, but enabling it improves data accuracy by around 5–10%, especially for traffic coming from apps like Facebook and Instagram. **Here is why:** Shopify’s standard pixel works inside a restricted environment. This causes two main challenges: 1. **Ad blockers** Without the app embed, tracking data is sent through our domain instead of your own website domain. Many ad blockers recognise this and block the requests, which leads to lost data. 2. **In-app browsers (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)** Browsers inside apps often block certain tracking requests. This can cause additional data loss, especially on mobile. When you enable the app embed, it helps bypass these limitations.
