HOW TO UPDATE GOOGLE TAG TEMPLATES FOR CLIENT-SIDE UNIVERSAL INTEGRATION

In this guide we will show you how to easily update the Google Tag Manager Tag Templates for the Client-Side Universal Integration

 

IMPORTANT: If you are not already using the comunity tag templates, but have a manually uploaded tag template, use "Custom HTML" tags or have manually installed pmVisitorSource.js and pmLogOrder.js, you need to migrate to using the community Tag Templates.   1. Log in to https://tagmanager.google.com 
  2. If an update is available, you will see a banner stating "X template updates available"

  3. Click View

  4. Click the first tag on the list

  5. Click Apply Update

  6. Click the next tag on the list

  7. Click Apply Update

  8. Click X to close the window

  9. Click Publish/Submit the changes

That's it. Your tags are not updated to the latest version
