How to switch the Cookiebot banner design to "Overlay"

Follow the steps below to switch the Cookiebot banner design to overlay. This will prevent users from navigating the site before consent and ensure click IDs are captured if consent is granted.

Part 1: Log in to Cookiebot and select your CMP
Part 2: Change design in Cookiebot CMP Manager
Part 3: Change design in Cookiebot CMP Admin

Part 1: Log in to Cookiebot and select your CMP

1. Navigate to https://www.cookiebot.com/

2. Click "Log In"
   

3. Select "Cookiebot CMP Manager" or "Cookiebot CMP Admin" and Click "Log in"
   

Part 2: Change design in Cookiebot CMP Manager

1. Click "Banner"
   
2. Click the "Position" dropdown menu
   
3. Select "Overlay"
   
   
4. Click "Save"
   

Part 3: Change design in Cookiebot CMP Admin

1. Click "Configuration"
   
2. Click the "Style effect" dropdown menu
   
3. Select "Overlay"
   
   
4. Click "Save changed"
