How to manually set up Google Analytics 4 (GA4) in Google Tag Manager

Follow the steps below to insert Google Analytics 4 in Google Tag Manager

  1. Log in to https://tagmanager.google.com/
  2. Go to Tags

  3. Click New

  4.   Click Tag Configuration

  5. Click Google Analytics

  6. Click Google Tag

  7. Insert your Measurement ID

  8. Click Triggering

  9. Select DOM Ready. You can also select any event related to your cookie consent update

  10. Click Save

  11. Name the Tag something like "(PM Revenue)" and click Save

  12. Repeat for your Profit property and name it (PM Gross Profit)

That's it.
