How to manually update Product cost for WooCommerce

Part 1: Make a copy of our template for WooCommerce

1. Click here to open PM - product cost template
2. Click "File"
   
3. Click "Make a Copy"
   
4. Edit Name
   
5. Click "Make a copy"
   

Part 2: Export products from Woocommerce and import them to Google Sheets

1. In WooCommerce admin click "Products"
   
2. Click "Export"
   
3. Select "ID" and "SKU"
   
4. Click "Generate CSV"
   
5. In Google Sheets, open "1. Import products"
   
6. Click File
   
7. Click "Import"
   
8. Click "Upload"
   
9. Click "Browse" and select the file you just exported from WooCommerce
   
10. Under "import location", select "Replace current sheet"
    
11. Click "Import data"
    

Part 3: Import SKU + Product cost in Google sheets

1. In Google Sheets, open "2. Import product cost"
   
2. Click "File"
   
3. Click "Import"
   
4. Click "Upload"
   
5. Click "Browse" and select the file containing SKU and Product cost
   
6. Under "import location", select "Replace current sheet"
   
7. Click "Import data"
   

Part 4: Export and import for WooCommerce (Recommended)

1. In Google Sheets, open "3. Export for WooCommerce"
   
2. Click "File"
   
3. Click  "Download" > "Comma separated Values (csv)"
   
4. In WooCommerce admin, click "Products"
   
5. Click "Import"
   
6. Click "Import file" and select the downloaded csv file
   
7. Check "Update existing products"
   
8. Click "Continue"
   

Part 5: Export and import for ProfitMetrics

1. In Google Sheets, open "1. Export for Profitmetrics"
   
2. Click File
   
3. Click "Download" > Comma Separated Values (.csv)
   
4. In ProfitMetrics, click "Products"
   
5. Click Cost price
   
6. Click "Select file" and select the downloaded csv file.
   
7. Select currency if applicable
8. Click "Submit"
