How to Integrate Dandomain, Scannet, SmartWeb, and Wannafind with ProfitMetrics

Follow these instructions to integrate ProfitMetrics with your hosted shop.

Part 1: Integration Setup

  1. Login to your ProfitMetrics account, navigate to "Integrations" > E-commerce Platforms" and select the relevant integration.

  2. Login to your backend system, navigate to "Indstillinger" > "Sprog og domæner"

  3. Copy the "ID" from the site you wish to connect. Note: The correct site ID is the one that is marked with 2 green dots and says "standard"

  4. Insert the "ID" in ProfitMetrics

  5. Go back to "Indstillinger" > "Medarbejdere"

  6. Click "Opret medarbejder"

  7. Enter the required information. The information does not have to be real. Make sure to select "API" under "Apllikationsadgang", as shown in the square in the image below.

    NOTE: Copy and paste the email and passcode into ProfitMetrics before clicking "Gem"

  8. Add the "API email" and "API passcode" in ProfitMetrics and click "Create Integration"

Part 2: Create a product feed 

  1. Follow this guide to set up your product feed and import it to your ProfitMetrics website.

Part 3: Insert the Hybrid Tracking script on your website

  1. Click "Webshop" from the main menu, then “Handlinger” > "Indsæt Javascript" for your active design theme

  2. Paste the script at the Javascript box under “Sidens indhold (bunden)” and click “Gem

Part 4: Install the setEmail script

  1. Click "Webshop" > “Handlinger” > "Rediger filer" for your active design theme

  2. Click on “modules” > “checkout” > “Checkout-approved.tpl” and paste the code at the end of the file, then click "Gem"

Part 5: Ensure that the setting has been SOAP is enabled

  1. Click "Indstillinger" > "API: SOAP"

  2. Click this checkbox if it's not already checked, and click "Gem"

  3. Thats it. You should start receiving orders in your ProfitMetrics account ✅
