## Learn how to integrate your ecommerce platform with ProfitMetrics.io

### API Connections

Please log in to your ProfitMetrics account and go to [Integrations \> E-Commerce Platforms](https://my.profitmetrics.io/customer/integrations_store.php) to see a list of supported CMS's. For each of the platforms above, the link will direct you to our Release page. For everything else, please click the name/logo of your CMS and follow the instructions on the screen. This may involve contacting your CMS's support directly in some cases.

### Universal Connections

If you don't have a specific module available at [https://release.profitmetrics.io](https://release.profitmetrics.io) OR an API connection available in [https://my.profitmetrics.io/customer/integrations\_store.php](https://my.profitmetrics.io/customer/integrations_store.php), you can still connect to ProfitMetrics in one of two ways:

[Client-Side Integration](https://knowledge.profitmetrics.io/how-to-set-up-universal-integration-through-google-tag-manager?hsLang=en) - entirely in Google Tag Manager, client-side only. This is faster to set up and doesn't typically require Developer time as long as your ecommerce data layer has all the necessary information, but is not recommended as it is client-side and some transactions will not be captured.

[Server-side Hybrid Integration](https://knowledge.profitmetrics.io/how-to-setup-serverside-hybrid-universal-integration?hsLang=en) - Some developer time will be required to send us your orders, but this is a hybrid client-side and server-side connection that is just as robust as any of our modules, and even more customizable
